Systems - Skyways and Stormgates

In Pirate101 you will not travell trough the 7 Seas, here you will travell trough the air, by the Skyways, that's super cool! But beware, there you can find many enemie ships and wild life, you can find Battacudas and face some sand hurricanes!
If you wanna travell faster and safer, go trough the Windlanes, those colourfull lifes will guide you trough the Skyways in safety.
There are countless Skyways in the Spiral, you can even travell trough the skyways of Dragonspyre, Santo Pollo and Aquila.

You do wanna get caught on theses, these are whirpools in the Skyways named Stormgates, they will take you to a space-like atmosphere where you will travel from world to world, It's a unique experience in Pirate101 and you will love it.

Systems - Ships

What's a pirate without his ship? NOTHING I SAY!!
In Pirate101 you can get your own ship and travell trough the mysterious Skyways, you can do battles with them and customize every single part of your ship.
When you create your character you can make you own pirate flag, and believe, from what I saw, there are like 1000 different options, go on, ride on your imaginations.
You can get ships by quests or by buying them, you can even give your ship her own name, can't to have my own ship :)

Systems - Companions

What would a pirate be without his own crew? Well, the Companions is a new system in Pirate101, you can get members called Companions to your own crew, c'mon, how cool is that? All the companions are different and you can earn them trough missions and other events, there are lots and lots of different companions, and I mean, lots and lots! Every companion has his own backstory and there are also missions that they give you, level up your companions and you will not regret.

 See? They are all diferent, and the companions also have classes, the Privateer is the class where you get more companions. Your first mate will be the one who will run side-by-side with you and will always join your battles.

If you level up you companions they will gain a more cooler look, what are you waiting for?

Level up all of your companions, even the ones that you don't like, and you will have a super crew, good luck!!

 

Systems - Combat

The combat in Pirate101 it's very different from the Wizard101 combat system, but don't worry, after 2 or 3 combats you will start making you own strategies.
In the beggining of the combat, a chess like board appears and it shows many squares and symbols representing you character, you companion(s) and you enemies, starting from there you choose where do you want you or your companions to go, what enemie to attack and what powers to use, it's not that difficult, it appears like this one:

 

When you decide what you and you companions will do, click Done and let the action begin! The chess like board will disappear and you will se your characters move and attack you enemies with cool and powerfull attacks.

You'll also have in every battle at the right corner in the top when you are planning your strategie victory conditions, some will say to you defeat all enemies, defeat the king, protect someone or even interact with objects, do them and you will not regreat.
